What is the Rikajo Training Award?
The Rikajo Nurturing Award was established by the Nissan Foundation with the aim of fostering science-loving girls (Rikajo), who will become the future bearers of science and technology fields.
The Nissan Foundation believes that the advancement of women (i.e., the promotion of diversity) is an essential element in the birth of new innovations in science and technology, and that it is important to increase girls’ interest in science fields at an early stage and to help them acquire the skills necessary to play an active role in these fields. The purpose of this program is to help those who are engaged in activities to nurture girls who love science.
